The premiere episode of "Arrow' season four will put forward something new that has never been done in the series, as teased by actor Stephen Amell. The secret "something" is expected to set the tone for the rest of the season.
During the show's panel at DragonCon 2015, the "Arrow' star opened up about an element that has been incorporated into the upcoming premiere, saying that it would bring on a major impact on the way with which the fourth season unfolds, as stated by ComicBook.
"The fundamental part of the season, that nobody is really going to understand until they see the premiere, is that we do something in the premiere that we've never done in the history of the show," Amell explained.
He further shared that such element can be recognized as a fascinating approach to storytelling as it brings on something new to catch the interest of viewers.
"It does something for the remainder of the season that there's going to be a constant jeopardy in the show, even if times are good. It's a really interesting technique. I think it promotes a good story. I think it will pique people's interest," the actor added.
As already known, fans can see Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough) as the main villain in "Arrow' season four.
The new episodes will see Team Arrow battling it out with Damien Darhk and H.I.V.E., the organization that murdered John Diggle's brother. Malcolm Merlyn has also ascended to the rank of Ra's al Ghul, thereby resulting to the decision of bringing Sara Lance back to life using the Lazarus Pit.
Meanwhile, according to rumors, Oliver Queen's sister Thea/ Speedy will have a key role in getting (Green) Arrow back to Star City.
It is then speculated that the new element in the premiere episode could have something to do with the duo.
In addition, "Arrow' season four will bring on a more light-hearted version of (Green) Arrow as compared to what has been presented so far.

The show's executive producer Wendy Mericle also dropped hints in her own tweet that the "Arrow' season 4 trailer will certainly "break the Internet."
