The Duggar clan can look forward to a family reunion before the year ends as Jill and Derick Dillard are reportedly planning to return to the United States this October for a brief visit to their loved ones.
Jim Bob and Michelle's daughter Jill, along with her husband Derick and little tot Israel, had spent the last month in Central America carrying out their missionary work within the area.
In spite of a "busy and adventurous month," the Dillard family has reportedly discussed plans of coming back to the U.S. for a short visit, giving the Duggar grandparents a reason to look forward to October when they can hold baby Israel again.
Jill recently shared an update on her family's work in Central America after nearly three weeks of keeping silent on social networking sites and blogs. As pointed out by the former '19 Kids and Counting' star, it seems that the family has been kept busy by their missionary work and basically was not able to make an update.
Jill also opened up about the past month being hectic and filled with adventure due to an array of projects being carried out on the missionary front.
The 24-year-old reality star also shared about being able to visit various towns and villages in Central America as part of their charitable work.
The mother-of-one would sometimes hang back to take care of baby Israel while Derick helped out in leading mission teams. However, when left alone, Jill made use of such opportunity to get absorbed and take in the area's culture and language.
Jill also shared about the local children who loved to play with Israel, giving her time to learn Spanish.
"I asked the local ladies lots of questions, "What is this?', "How do you spell it?' etc. It's not easy learning a new language, but one day soon, I pray I'll be able to communicate fluently and even dream in Spanish," the Duggar daughter stated.
Last month, Derick took to their blog and shared about how their baby Israel had instantly become a favorite among the community members.
"Israel seems to be adjusting to the new climate, culture, food (via mom's milk), and language faster than Jill and I are," Derick shared in a blog post. "In fact, he has been the talk of the town. Everywhere we go, people [hear] about and want to see and hold the 'big blue-eyed, white baby' LOL."
Aside from their plan to pay the U.S. a visit in October, the Dillard couple also aims to spend the next month completing language school to be able to communicate with the people of Central America in their native language.
