While Jill Duggar-Dillard carries on with her new Christian ministry with husband Derick in Central America, the reality TV star remains strong in heart and spirit with her sister Jessa Duggar-Seewald, especially after the latter recently welcomed the latest addition to the Duggar family.
Due to the fact that she was not able to go home and be physically present during the arrival of her nephew, Jill decided to pen a letter for Jessa and write about how excited she is that they would be sharing motherhood experiences together.
"Derick, Israel and I are so excited for you and Benji! I can't believe you have a little one now!" Jill wrote in the Dillard Family Blog. "It was such a joy to get to be a part of the birth from Central America, thank you. You were a champ! I felt those contractions with you."
Jill also welcomed her first child Israel David Dillard earlier this year and remains hopeful that she and her sister would be able to raise their boys into religious and committed individuals.
"I'm so excited for us to be both on this motherhood journey together! I pray our boys will love Jesus with their heart, soul, mind and strength and love others more than themselves!" Jill further wrote.
She also opened up about being able to FaceTime despite the distance, placing emphasis on the fun things that the young ones are yet to experience, such as sharing clothes, as they undergo similar phases within the next few months.
As Jill knows how much her sister would prefer to be a hands-on mother, she advised Jessa to not feel bad when family and friends offer assistance when it comes to caring for her new baby in these first few weeks.
"The more rest you get the better for you and baby and the faster you'll recover!" Jill added.
Jessa gave birth at their home in Arkansas, four days after her due date, which had also been her first wedding anniversary with Ben.
Now, the Christian couple is taking into consideration the possibility of having a second baby by adopting in the future.
Although the first-time mother admitted that she would want their next baby to be adopted, she explained that adoption agencies do not allow parents to adopt when they still have an infant.
"When I was in labor, I told Ben, 'Babe, we are not having any more kids after this,' " Jessa jokingly said. "I was teasing - we will have more kids. But in that moment of pain, I believed it!"
The upcoming TV special that will shed more light on Jessa's journey to motherhood together with Jill's mission trip with her Dillard family is set to air this December on TLC.
