Almost a month after the first trailer was unveiled, Sony has come up with another montage of "Goosebumps' scenes to scare fans silly.
On Monday, R.L. Stine dropped a new, monstrous clip to share to his fright-loving followers on Twitter.
"Have you seen the official SECOND trailer for the Goosebumps Movie?" the author asked fans on the social networking site.
In the two-minute video, Jack Black begins the clip by sharing to a class of unenthusiastic students his tips on writing a killer story.
"Every story ever told can be broken down into three parts: the beginning, the middle and that twist," Black says.
Drawn out from the famous R.L. Stine series of the same title, the movie follows Black as he plays the fictional version of the 71-year-old author, who is described by his own niece Hannah (Odeya Rush) as someone who "doesn't really like anyone."
The first trailer for "Goosebumps' showed teen Zach Cooper, played by Dylan Minnette, who just transferred to the house next to Stine. While he ends up being friendly with Stine's niece, their companionship takes an shocking turn after Cooper accidentally releases the author's fictional monsters from his manuscripts into the real world.
As Stine was referred to as "a prisoner of his own imagination," the video shows how the author protects his readers by locking up his demons and other beings in the books.
"All the early monsters that are in the books [are in the film]," Stine said in an interview with ComingSoon.net last month. "They all come out, they're all there. The real evil one is Slappy the Dummy, he's there, the Abominable Snowman from Pasadena is there, and lawn gnomes, HUNDREDS of lawn gnomes. They're great, they're really good."
"You just released every monster I have ever dreamed," Black says in the clip as the Greendale town of Maryland tries to escape from a group of imaginary creatures.
The 45-year-old actor opened up about the "Goosebumps' trailer on Good Morning America, where he also expressed his excitement for the upcoming project.
"The movie turned out dynamite," he said. "I'm so excited because the books are really funny and scary and exciting and we just wanted the movie to be as awesome and cool as the book series was and I think we cracked the code."
"Goosebumps' has been widely recognized for targeting younger viewers, although adults who enjoyed their childhood in the '90s with both the thriller books and TV series could take interest in the upcoming flick as well.
Also starring Halston Sage and Amy Ryan, "Goosebumps' is set for an official premiere on Oct. 16, 2015. Its trailer can be viewed below.
