South Korea's OSEN reported that the hip hop artist Tablo of Epik High and his daughter Haru will no longer be appearing in the reality TV show, "The Return of Superman" (KBS2). On the 28th of December, the hip hop artist and his daughter will be appearing on their last episode.
A KBS insider reported that Tablo has expressed that him and his hip hop trio Epik High will be getting extremely busy with his musical career and that it will be impossible to continue as a member of the show. KBS also reported that actor Tae-woong Eom, and his daughter Ji-On will be replacing Tablo and Haru. Many fans of the show are already expressing great expectation as to what kind of changes will be witnessed in the show when Eom joins.
"The Return of Superman" is a reality show which features Korean celebrities with their children. Specifically, it features male celebrities who will be spending 48 hours with their children for every episode. Comedian Hwee-Jae Lee with his twin sons, UFC fighter Sung-hoon Choo with his daughter Sarang, and actor In-guk Song with his tripletsare are currently members of the panel.
At first, many KBS producers and insiders were concerned whether how effective the show would be, but almost immediately after it was launched it got very positive reviews and ratings were very high. Some experts expressed that it promoted marriage and having children in Korea, since it is the nation with one of the lowest birth rates in the world.
