Although TLC cancelled the airing of "19 Kids and Counting," it looks like fans and followers still has ways of getting the latest scoop on the Duggar family. At the moment, one of the most exciting news about the Christian clan is the upcoming wedding of Amy Duggar to fiancé Drilon King. While Jim Bob's niece may have been perceived as someone not as traditional as cousins Jill Dillard and Jessa Seewald, she still holds on to similar beliefs in terms of values as her more conservative counterparts.

Speaking with Radar Online, the cousin of the "19 Kids and Counting" reality stars shared that she and her future husband, King, are practicing abstinence prior to tying the knot. She said, "We're going to wait for marriage." As fans of the TLC show would know, the Duggar family are advocates of no sexual intercourse before marriage. In fact, viewers of "19 Kids and Counting" would recall that the date romantic dates of older sister Jill Duggar with Derick Dillard were chaperoned in an effort to never leave the two lovebirds alone with just each other. The same rules were implemented during the courtship of Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald. Even the eldest son of the "19 Kids and Counting" family, Josh Duggar, was required to have chaperones during his dates with his now wife, Anna Duggar.

Although Amy Duggar clearly aims to stick to the rules implemented in the dating lives of her "19 Kids and Counting" cousins, she also admits that her past had not been an unblemished one. She shared, "I have made mistakes in the past, but I can tell you that is something we are waiting on." Prior to the cancellation of TLC's Duggar family life reality series, the network actually aired a feature story on Amy Duggar. Dubbed as the "fun-loving cousin" of Josh Duggar and his siblings, King's fiancée was revealed as a "different kind of Duggar." TLC shared that Amy Duggar is not "cut from the same cloth" as Jim Bob Duggar's "19 Kids and Counting" brood.

Hence, it was not a complete surprise when Amy Duggar shared that she and future husband King do not intend to immediately have kids. "I don't plan on getting pregnant right after marriage," she revealed. It could be recalled that both of her cousins, Jill Duggar and Jessa Duggar, got pregnant mere months after their wedding days. While not completely shunning the idea of having children, Amy Duggar pointed out that she has other things to accomplish first before starting her own family. She disclosed, "I want to travel and enjoy not waking up in the middle of the night with a baby."
